Guilty secret off my chest.

However, having said that, I do hate the way that it seems to be a foregone conclusion the X-Factor finalist will be the Christmas number 1. I liked it in the olden days when bands like Slade and Wizzard had to battle it out for the top spot.

I like Christmas music and it would be nice if a Christmas song made it to the number 1 spot at Christmas again. Probably, the last serious(?) attempt at this was The Darkness a couple of years ago... and it still annoys me that the Mad World single kept it at number 2!Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08614417017549146281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1799134939589412844.post-91578110848555242822009-12-15T12:52:41.843+00:002009-12-15T12:52:41.843+00:00Hi David,

The Simon Cowell X-Factor machine must be stopped!

The office Christmas tree is up, the lights have been PAT tested and I'm downloading your holiday sampler at the moment. Will break out the mince pies after lunch.

Cheers,

JimAcooReviewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12122055962437641204noreply@blogger.com
